This is an ongoing series of comics that I started drawing for the queer online publication, Autostraddle, in 2015.
In the beginning, the comic was a collection of random thoughts and social commentary on politics, current events, queerness, and anti-Blackness but it has evolved into something a bit more cohesive and a lot more personal.
After 100+ comics, the focus is entirely on telling the story of two fictional "play cousins", Saraia and Sarai. This comic is very much my way of exploring and communicating the feelings that are closest (and/or funniest) to my heart and life, including being Black, queer, asexual, a parent and co-parent, emergency dispatcher, fandom meddler, creative, and really really bad at flirting.
